So I've been riding this fin in the 7" model, on a HIC Morgan 9' board. It gives plenty of control. The difference with this fin is that when you really push your weight into it, it breaks away, even with the two two G-Xs i run. Its like drifting a skate board. It reacts similar to a squirrel tail fin just much more controlled, you have to put the energy into it to make it break loose. I feels great once you get the hang of it. I will say this, if you are a little more advanced longboarder that likes to make sharp hard turns you may want to go smaller. I'm about 170lbs and its a bit slow when you want to accelerate fast, its smooth and I love it but I think I'm going to go to a traditional fin thats about 5" long with some PG-5 skegs.

Great fin. Excellant customer service. They shipped it quickly and wrapped it in a way that prevented any chance of breakage. I would recomend to anyone.
