By kathyperry I bought this skimboard for my son and he loves it. It is lighter weight and thinner than his previous skimboard. He feels that he is able to do more tricks.

Skim board is the balls! Oct 17, 2009
By Robert Dinsmoor Okay, I'm 50 and I've never done the skim board before, so I have nothing to compare this particular product to. The first time I tried it out was on a rocky beach. Big mistake, lotsa blood. Second time I had to get over the fear on a soft sandy beach. I fell down some but with impunity. Then Fall came. I look forward to learning to skim board on Crane Beach when Spring rolls around again.
